My greatest strength comes from the fact that I have worked on design projects in a broad range of electronic/electrical disciplines. My expertise lies in electronic circuit design, embedded controls and software of various languages In addition, I've installing many of the devices and products I have developed. These experiences over the past 25 years have given me a well rounded background not only in design, but in troubleshooting, travel and customer satisfaction. I strive to make our experience as fun and productive as possible.

Some of my accomplishments are:

1) PC based data acquisition/verification program designed for the credit card/marketing industry using multiple bar code scanners and database matching at a rate of 11K items per hour..

2) Developed consumer electronics device using an embedded controller that receives DTMF signals from a telephone line and outputs an infrared signal to contol a VCR's recording capability.

3) Developed controller hardware for linear, solid state peizoelectric motor using digital to analog conversion and ROM based look-up.

4) Designed and developed PLC based automated process control systems using Allen-Bradley PLC5 and SLC PLCs. Designed and developed Human Machine Interface (HMI) using RSView and Intellution software. Designed electrical distribution system for the process control system.

5) Awarded US Patent #5689168, November 18th, 1997, Control Circuit For 2 Speed Motors

I am generally available by phone between 8 am and 10 pm EST M-F. But call anytime and if I don't answer, please leave a message. If details need to be exchanged, we will use Guru's message boards in order to maintain a "paper trail" for a project.

Short term projects (less than 3 weeks elapsed time) will be billed as a whole. Longer projects (greater than 3 weeks elapsed time) will be divided into agreed upon milestones and each milestone will be billed separately.

No work will begin until agreed upon amounts are deposited into escrow for short term projects or each milestone for long term projects.

Work can be accomplished either in Group R's home base of Rochester, NY and/or on your work site if necessary.

If travel is required, these expenses will be the responsibility of the customer including flights, rental car, hotel, parking and per diem. These expenses will be in addition to the agreed upon project cost. Group R Technology will not front money for travel expenses. It will be the customers responsibility to either make travel arrangements in advance or escrow the agreed upon travel expenses.
