Work Terms

Unicorn Technical Services works on both firm fixed price projects and time and material projects.

FFP project are prefered where a well defined project definition can be developed with specific deliverables. The deliverables result in progress payments. All FFP projects require a significant up front payment that could be as high as 50% for short term projects (less than 20 hours). All other payments will be made on an agreed upon basis.

T&M projects are prefered when the project requirements are open ended. Typically a 20% deposit is required as a retatiner. Retainer is credited against hours work so the retainer balance is zero at the end of the project.
