My experience relies more on practical accomplishment rather than theoretical concepts; this allows me to focus my creativity in a manner that improves your product while saving you money while following through and finishing your project.
One of my greatest assets are my manufacturing partners who I work closely with.
One option is a domestic injection molder who I partner with; I do prototyping and production with him at rates that are had to believe because I know his capabilities and will tailor the parts to his processes. His prices are generally only a fraction of other companies for tooling and very competitive for production.
I also frequently travel to China and have man connections there. Certain products (particularly ones with assembly and electronics) are less expensive to make in China. I know companies there, I have personal relationships, and I know how to avoid the common pitfalls and delver a good experience.
I'm skilled in CAD (SolidWorks). I'll provide realistic photo renderings before providing you with fast, accurate, and cost efficient prototypes.

Work Terms
|
The following guidelines are optional
steps that are frequently taken in product design situations. Not all
steps are needed in all cases, however this is the general path
towards project completion. I'm a full-service engineer capable of
taking this all the way to completion.
1 – Conceptual process Some
customers already have this part done. If this step is needed it
usually requires brainstorming and marketing research (2 weeks)
2 – Initial CAD designs The purpose
is to establish a starting concept in 3D design that the customer and
engineer agree on (1 week)
3 – Refined CAD modeling The design
takes on more character and final shape (1 week)
4 – Prototyping Using a variety of
options depending on the purpose, shape, and size of the product,
this will provide confidence in moving to the next phase (2 days –
1 week)
5 – Pre-production Tooling Use of
aluminum injection mold tools allows early production versions of the
parts to be produced at low costs allowing the market to be tested
with minimal expense and risk. This production tooling can be used
up to 250,000 parts (3 - 7 weeks)
6 – Full stage manufacturing This
includes product fulfillment (assembly) and packaging to move into
permanent high levels of production and full optimization on return
of investment. (6 - 12 weeks)
