Hello, I am in beginning stages of making my idea into reality. My company is Bebe Coquet, LLC, recently established out of Phoenix, AZ. One of the products that I have designed is a product for children ages 6-36 months of age. This product is made mainly out of vinyl and foam materials. It also has a lot of detail on it. It is in a circular in form with a radius of 100cm and thickness of 2.5cm. My goal is to get a prototype done. Based on your profile information, I felt that you might be the fit for this project. We would like a unique bicycle wheel design similar to the attached photo. The bicycle wheel will be made out of plastic (link We will provide exact dimensions of the outer rim, inside area (circle in center you see in the attached photo), and the panels that open (2 screws hold each in photo). The wheel you design will be for a bicycle so it must look the same on both sides, 26" instead of 18" in the photo. Full details on all measurements will be provided before the project starts. We need CAD designs to pass to our factory. You should have a good understanding of how to evaluate the characteristics of the plastic selected (full specs provided) to determine structural integrity of the wheel. While we do not need NASA aerodynamics this wheel does need to be designed with balance and structure in mind.
