Work Terms

Part time projects from a few hours up. Small projects of 10-20 hours are fine, as are larger ones. Will consider multi-year projects, but not full time for extended periods. Depends upon location of course. Will consider full-time for limited duration.

I work on-line or in person, and interact well with people, especially those of other cultures and languages.

I prefer working through the Guru Escrow payment arrangement.

I prefer to communicate by e-mail. Phone is second. Meetings are welcome, especially at the start of a project, for project organization and structure, goals and deliverables, and progress and budget discussions. This is crucial when defining the scope or the project.

Most software is acceptable. I use OpenOffice 3.1, Microsoft Office Pro 2007 and MS Project. I use many other suites and specialized software, including dedicated engineering programs.
