I work with Guru.com's Safe Pay only to protect the client and myself. This request is created at the start of a job after a project is awarded to me.
I communicate quickly through guru.com and respond in a timely manner.
My typical work flow is to provide thumbnail sketches based on client descriptions. I then take them to a working 'comp' phase where I will block in form, composition & color. After this a client critique is needed to move into the final finish phase.
Upon client approval of job, I will collect the Safe Pay balance.
