I am an award winning playwright with a degree in theatre from the renowned drama school at Northwestern University. My plays have been produced in New York, Chicago, Seattle and San Diego.
Additionally, I have ghostwritten ten children's novels, as well as written educational content and done children's writing for a variety of outlets. I am fluent in Spanish, and in another life I was the lead translator for a Chicago real estate magazine.
My writing experience also includes grants and press releases, curriculum writing, product descriptions and proofreading. I look forward to working with you to complete your project and exceed your expectations!

SCRIPT CONSULTATION: I have been teaching playwriting and mentoring writers for over ten years, teaching at major regional theatres like the Old Globe Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse and ACT Theatre. I have also evaluated scripts for the literary departments of ACT Theatre and San Diego's Playwrights Project, in addition to doing private consulting on individual scripts. I would love to read your play and offer suggestions of how you might develop your characters, sharpen your dialogue, clarify your plot, or whatever else you may need.
CHILDREN'S FICTION: I have ghostwritten ten children's novels, and have references available upon request. I have also done book development, doctoring, and editing on children's books at all stages of the process.
PROOFREADING/EDITING/DEVELOPMENT/WRITING: My writing background includes non-profit public relations, non-profit grantwriting, and curriculum writing.
TRANSLATION: I do English to Spanish and Spanish to English translation, as well as Spanish voice over work. My translation projects have been extremely varied, including Real Estate ads, Video Scripts, and Website Translation. |

I communicate extremely quickly through email, and am available via the phone. I prefer to be paid through Guru's Escrow and Arbitration services, though once we have established a working relationship, I am happy to simply invoice you. I complete all projects and communication promptly, and appreciate when payment is prompt in return. I am always happy to work on a project until the client is completely satisfied.
