Work Terms

Being a translation freelancer, I schedule my working life and arrange the projects I am working on in an efficient and reasonable way.
I give my customers a clear outline and an exact date until which I hand in my work.
My personal and work ethics commit myself to highly qualitative and quick completion of assigments, always considering the needs of my customers and keeping contact with them.
First contact is usually via e-mail, however I prefer a short telephone-conversation or, if possible at all, a brief personal meeting, before starting work in order to prevent misunderstandings in first place.
After agreeing on a rate I prefer receiving a written agreement (e.g. invoice) on the contract.
With regard to the method of payment I prefer a direct transaction onto my bank-account, if not possible via Western Union, etc. or a written check via mail.
I usually send the completed translation via email, if a personal meeting is not possible.
I want to underline that I am a very well-organized person and commit to a job 100 % once I take it, which leaves no room for low-quality work and unprofessional manners.
