Work Terms

PAYMENT: For first-time clients without a significant payment history, I require payment through Guru Escrow, which protects both of us. Basically, you pay Guru the entire project fee; Guru holds the money until you receive my work and authorize release of funds. Payment is due within 48 hours of delivery. Once I receive it, I transfer copyright to you, and we're done.

If you don't want to use Guru Escrow, you can pay through Guru Invoices. However, in that case, I will invoice for 20% of the project fee as a down payment. Once I receive that, I'll immediately begin work.

I also strongly recommend using GURU'S E-CHECK SYSTEM. You'll accumulate Guru Loyalty Dollars, which save you money down the road. From my point of view, I don't have to bump up my fee to cover the cost of PayPal or credit card charges.

Depending on the size of the project, I may want partial payment upon reaching an agreed milestone. (For very large projects, I'm open to negotiating payment terms.)

AVAILABILITY: I prefer contact through Guru email, which provides a record of our communications. If you want to call me, just let me know and we'll set up a time. My work hours are from LATE MORNING TO EARLY EVENING. I check my email several times a day and will respond promptly to any questions or issues. (Sorry, I don't use Skype or IMs.)

COMMUNICATION: Never hesitate to contact me on any matter. Regular and clear communication are the key to success for both of us.
