As a graduate of the University of Michigan I honed my skills in research and writing immediately out of High School. Since graduation I have enjoyed a road that has taken me to the United States Navy, the theatre (and vicariously, marketing for a non-profit group) and the restaurant industry. I have maintained a strong level of both written and oral communication through all careers. That I have experienced more than just one career path in the recent years has strengthened my communication skills, not simply by necessity, though in great part, but also because of a will to succeed.
