Work Terms

I have been freelancing for about 25 years. I currently have a home office in Central Oregon (after 20 years in the Los Angeles fast lane) and am looking for freelance, off-site projects only. My work hours are endless... I usually start at 7 a.m. and am often still my desk at 10 pm, including weekends. My favorite cliche about freelancing is this:

"When you're self-employed you only have to work half a day. And you get to choose which 12 hours it will be."

That pretty much sums it up for me.

I am easily accessible by phone and email and respond to communications promptly.

Regarding payment, for most projects I require a signed project agreement and 50% of the fee up front.
