I am a professional writer and I know what my mission is to my clients: to motivate their customers into taking a desired action. I've been in the advertising business for fifty years - working for Bristol-Myers Squibb, high-tiered ad agencies in Upper New York State, and freelance copy, design, photo, and print-production consulting work for the past twenty years.
All of my writing is based on deep researching of my client's products, services and organization. I cannot write what I do not know about, yet I know everything about what I write. I vigorously explore new ways of presentation. For example:
"Our Longsight Office Suite software application package is the finest in its field. And it runs Open XML"
Or, perhaps this is more interesting:
"We paid $65,000,000 for sole distribution rights of our Longsight Office Suite, because we think it's the best product money can buy!"
Try this:
"Our software engineers are the best at innovation!"
Or, instead:
"Our software engineers are so good, we gave them the rest of the year off!
(Of course, they had to take along their BlackBerries(TM)"....

Work Terms
|
All payment for work tendered is to be made through the Guru payment options: Safe Pay and Guru Safe Pay Escrow; also PayPal.
- In the event we haven't done business before, I ask 50 percent upon starting and 50 percent within three business days of the finished work being submitted to you. This applies to all jobs $100 and above. For assignments under $100, payment is expected upon completion, at which time unlocked files will be turned over to the client.
- I provide two rounds of normal editing and minor revisions. Such editing and revising is not to be understood as to include total and complete rewriting. Complete rewriting is a separate job in and of itself and will be quoted as such.
For proofing purposes, prior to final payment, the client will receive an Adobe Acrobat .pdf file that will be security locked for viewing purposes only. A proofing file will not be able to be saved, printed, or copied. Upon final payment, the completed file will be tendered unlocked.
