Highlights
|
|
Industries/projects that i've worked on include:
Fashion/Retail: Extensive copywriting for direct mail, radio, print and point-of-sale for billion-dollar outdoor footwear and apparel company Timberland. Results: increased brand awareness in targeted markets and drove strong sales for several national boot and apparel launches.
Food and Wine: Rewrote entire new website for one of nation's leading direct-to-consumer marketers of wine and accessories. Also wrote copy for several of their direct-response print advertising efforts. Work resulted in 47% increased sales compared to previous efforts.
Financial: Wrote copy for direct mail and web for Bank One advertising campaign directed toward Bank One student loan holders. Premise: Bank One offered these loan holders a free checking account and financial advice as a way of establishing a relationship with them hopefully so they would use Bank One for all their future financial needs. Campaign achieved a 39% success rate, resulting in nearly 100,000 new accounts.
Industrial/Construction: Bi-monthly corporate newsletter for leading New England construction supplier.
Industrial/Electrical: Developed concept and wrote copy for Electrical Distributor trade ad promoting new easy-to-use e-commerce website.
Hi-tech: Sales letters and various other items of sales copy for computer equipment manufacturers. Ads netted increased sales.
Biotechnology: Wrote copy for brochure of a consumer genetic-preservation technology.
Home and Garden: Feature articles for a high-end New England Seacoast home and garden magazine. Subjects have included antiques, landscape design, faux finishing and deck maintenance.
