Highlights

My pride in life, business and personally is based on what I give.
The first are my children.
My daughter, Leora, left us six years ago after a fierce five month battle with the rare cancer, LeioMyoSarcoma. Graceful, funny and strong until the end, she is and will always be my hero. She is the reason I am where I am today.
My sons, Travis (18), and Sky (16) are drug, tobacco and alcohol free, make excellent grades and are both college-bound. Mama's boys for sure, they are strong and self-sufficient. I could not be more proud of them.
My other pride is my volunteer work. This list confirms my belief in life that the more we give, the more we truly receive.

Work Terms

I do not believe that having a grant proposal written for the purpose of doing good in the world should be unattainable because of outrageous writing fees. I specialize in helping the fledgeling non-profits and small businesses, because they really need the funding but tend to have the least capitol.
The following are the typical payment and proposal options:
*Retainer: After the initial proposal, my $25/hr retainer guarantees ten hours of research a month, done weekly, to find new potential funders.
*One-time proposal, with research: Six weeks for a standard research and write deal. This is a flat eight hour day at $25/hr, five days a week.
*One-time proposal, no research: $500 flat rate up to 20 pages $25/page additional pages.
*Research only: $25/hr or $150 per day minimum two days. I have access to several databases that the general public does not. It puts literally thousands of funders at my fingertips. I will throw in a letter of inquiry with this option if required by the funder.
Ideas for other payment options that may work for you are welcome for discussion.
I am a freelance writer, therefore my hours may be odd. However, I log everything and will always provide a detailed bill.
I do not plan to travel, but can if the need is absolute, at the employer's expense, and we can agree to terms.
