Description:
This is a hobby and side business through which I nurture an interest of mine in stuff about the historical Jesus. I'm not born again or anything; just tapping interests that developed in me over 9 years of study for the Roman Catholic priesthood. I've got a wonder-wife and 3 kids now, so I think I've shot my chances of turning back. No sweat; no regrets.
I offer a 2-act, 1-actor, full theatrical stage performance, at various churches, that I call An Evening with Simon Peter. I impersonate the Apostle Peter, and, with my own professional stage lighting and sound people, spend 90-minutes getting people to laugh out loud sometimes, offer up a few "Oh, I never knew that"s; then maybe leave a tear or two behind, as I relive for them my experience alongside that Jesus fella during his ministry, then through his passion, death, and resurrection.
I have also written and published two educational, but laugh-out-loud (so they tell me) fictional newspapers, one for the first Christmas, and one for the first Easter Sunday morning. Am now producing two fictional radio news programs for the same events.
