I have formerly worked as an administrative assistant in a hospital. In that position I was responsible for editing hand-written reports and typing them using Microsoft Word and Excel.

I enjoy writing. I have had a poem published in a poetry anthology, written several online research articles relating to a medical condition that I have and I am currently working on writing a book on that condition.

My Guru experience so far includes Ebay and Amazon research and posting. Also, I specialize in writing, rewriting and search engine optimizing (SEO) articles and writing e-books. Some of the subjects that I've covered include, but are not limited to, household cleaning tips, poker playing advice, pet care, skin care and digital photo books.

I also have experience writing letters to children from various figures (Santa etc.), writing book for children and writing biographical novels and some fiction. I am a skilled research and SEO writer specializing in writing or rewriting short articles. I also have some experience with writing children's books, biographies and resumes. I have done some editing and transcription work as well. I pride myself on my ability to tailor my writing to the needs of each of my employers. I know how to follow directions, but I also make suggestions, if I feel the need. So, I hope that any employers who are reading this will not hesitate to ask me questions and get to know me a bit. Work Terms

When I bid on projects, I give an estimate of when I plan to deliver the project. I usually estimate high, so that projects get handed in early or on time.

My availability to work on projects is usually about five days a week, but the specific days do change each week. For example, I might take Monday and Tuesday off one week and Saturday and Sunday another.

I always leave quick feedback and answer messages promptly. I do ask employers to be mindful of time zone differences, though, and I do my best to do the same for them.

I prefer to communicate only through the Guru discussion boards for each project, but I do also have Yahoo Messenger and will consider some phone communication, if necessary.

Regarding payment, I prefer to use Guru's invoicing system, but will use escrow in some cases, if asked. I do get charged extra to use escrow, however, so my fee may be adjusted, accordingly. I do not accept payments by methods outside the Guru system, such as personal checks or direct Paypal payments. Doing so is against Guru's policy and could get my account shut down.
