Highlights
|
|
Flexible and professional writer who has worked with some of the biggest companies in America including Google, Caterpillar, Zurich Insurance, and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange. I have completed projects in Word, PowerPoint, DreamWeaver, Acrobat, FrameMaker, RoboHelp, MadCap Flare, and Quark. I have created all forms of user documentation such as manuals, online help, training presentations, marketing materials, website content, and training videos. My work has been used nationwide at a variety of financial exchanges and I have trained users across the country. I am extremely competent, quick, and reliable. I work well on my own, but have also worked in team environments and even managed other writers. I have confidence that I can perform any writing task you need.

Work Terms

I am only available for off-site or telecommuting roles at this time. Some travel is OK, but no extended trips. I prefer to work on hourly basis, paid every two weeks either by check or through the site. I am willing to work on fixed bid projects as well, but prefer hourly.
In an ideal project, I would be given a tutorial of the related software, followed by a chance to work in a testing or QA environment to learn the software on my own. I would like a dedicated plan for getting my questions answered and for reviewing drafts. It is also beneficial to have weekly calls or meetings to resolve any issues and get questions answered.
I have no problems completing the project via email, phone, Skype, and videoconferencing. I've completed several projects in this way and find it works well.
