Work Terms

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Fees: Per word. However, for smaller projects or those with fewer word counts than full-length manuscripts, and depending on overall writing and organizational quality, I charge $40 per hour. The total amount of time I work on a project is automatically recorded inside the document under the File-->Properties-->Statistics tab. I am scrupulous about billing (if I have to take a phone call or get coffee, I save and close the file).
Project Communication: Strongly prefer to communicate via Guru's PDB (Private Discussion Board) to ensure that there is a written record of all communication available to both parties at all times. Phone calls, IMs, and Skype do not offer this built-in protection for our mutual benefit. I will be happy to discuss the project briefly, before commencement, by phone.
Payment: Full, 100% deposit via SafePay Escrow at commencement for budgets more than $500; 50% deposit via SafePay Escrow at commencement for budgets less than $500, with balance due 48 hours after delivery.
