I have worked on a project to increase the energy efficiency of small businesses. This project was authorized by New York State and administered by Cornell University. I called small business owners to survey them and then set up an appointment for an engineering firm to do a physical survey of their premises. This involved a degree of sales as many of the owners did not believe that the program and service were free. I have worked in Customer Service and Sales for a publisher, mortgage broker leads, for a home food service and currently in my own business. I have also worked as a library associate which required working with the public, answering reference questions and keeping statistics. I have also written a grant program which was accepted and for which I wrote and submitted the reports.
