Highlights
|
I love programming and have been doing so in different forms since I was young. When I was around 10, I had access to a Tandy 1000 from Radio Shack and taught myself QBasic. That was the beginning of my love for programming. My interest in Microsoft technologies began in High School when we had a Visual Basic programming class; I ended up teaching the other students since the teacher really didn't know the material, she just guided us with the curriculum. I've been enamored with it ever since.
I went to college for programming and currently have my Associate's degree in software engineering. I will be finishing up in about a year with my Bachelor's. I have always been above the curve as far as programming knowledge in relation to classmates and even the curriculum, specifically in the .NET environment. I teach myself many aspects of programming in my own time and love to learn about .NET.
I have yet to actually be able to make software engineering my career but love programming in my spare time and have put together a few programs of my own, one that has gotten some recognition amongst IT-type people; SysPad.

I am currently in school finishing my Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering while also working a full-time job in an IT department. I have limited time but I will do the work I sign up for and will only apply for what I feel I have the skill-set.
