For the past 10 years I’ve been a full time FileMaker Pro developer and independent Apple Consultant. I'm familiar with FileMaker 2.1, 3, 4, 4.1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8.5, 9, 10 and now 11 as well as the various FMP server applications and their deployment. I’ve worked with industries including medical, legal, retail and non-pro?t and am familiar with far too many hardware and software products to mention. I'm very experienced with upgrading FileMaker solutions and consolidating multiple file systems into either a single file or data-separated one. I’ve provided services for creative ad agencies and newspapers and managed to be the ?rst IS/IT employee to win an employee of the month award in the process because of my ability to both understand technology and communicate with people. For ?fteen years prior to that I managed higher-education resale/repair facilities, including a $7 million operation at Northwestern University in Chicago and won awards for customer service while doing it. Apple also asked me to participate and present in a “Reseller Brie?ng Tour” for higher education resellers in the Paci?c Northwest in order to share my experience with my counterparts. The FileMaker systems I create are ALWAYS very easy to use, highly automated, automatically document what's been communicate to people (emails, letters, reports, etc) and are designed to truly empower my users.

I prefer to be paid by the hour while I work on a single project at a time.
Email, Skype, IMing and phone calls are my preferred methods of communicating (with most favored listed first).
I'm available around 20 hours a week and often more as I tend to work some odd hours and weekends in order to accommodate my clients needs and the availability of the systems I'm needing access to.
I like to discuss the scope of a project with the involved team members, ask a number of questions and then think on it before coming back with follow up questions to make sure I understand what they want. Then I'll make suggestions as to what I think the best course of action is and see what the client thinks.
Together we can typically come up with a plan of actions that works for both parties.
