I founded this business as a result of over 20 years of practical, hands on experience in the computer software industry. As a graduate of MIT, and a hobbyist in computers since age 11, I have been developing software since the early days of DOS on the very first IBM home computers, and the old Apple IIs. I developed games directly in machine language, and I have seen the evolution of better and better programming languages, faster and more powerful computers. As I also attended the Sloan school of business at MIT, and worked with a Cambridge based financial consulting company. I have seen how business applications have gotten more sophisticated, and more complex. It is rare that a business can be entirely run by commercial off-the-shelf solutions... at least not with maximum efficiency.

I am flexible about working on projects for fixed price or hourly fee, and on payment terms. Generally, payments for Guru.com projects are set up through Safepay Escrow, although if we establish an ongoing business relationship, I am open to other forms of payment.
