Work Terms

I work best with clearly defined business as well as technical objectives and requirements. I prefer an open channel of communication with the project management and business sponsorship in order to ensure delivery of the best value possible.

I am willing to work on either a time & materials or fixed price basis. On a time & materials basis, I can be more flexible to accommodate changes to the project requirements and can generally provide a better overall value. I will ask for payment for hours worked on a biweekly basis.

On a fixed price basis, I will be more strict about agreed project requirements and will require approved change orders for any changes that may affect budget and timeline. I will ask for a deposit to begin work on a project and progress payments based on agreed milestones.

All my work is fully guaranteed to meet or exceed our agreed written specifications and for quality of design and execution for 90 days after delivery. Upon request, I will provide a quotation for extended support or ongoing maintenance of the delivered work product.
All of my work is confidential and I will not disclose or reuse work product developed for another employer or client. I am very familiar with requirements of information security and privacy of sensitive, non-public data and am equiped to handle such information safely.
