DiamondShip -- middleware program to convert incoming sales orders (EDI/ASCII/EXCEL/proprietary formats) to a standard for import to th Enterprise management and accounting system in an sales order fullfillment environment.
DiamondPrint -- used with DiamondShip to print branded packing slips for fullfillment operations DiamondReturns -- used with DiamondShip to identify returned goods from customers and match them to the order, then create an EDI transaction for a credit and an update for the ADP accounding system Unnamed "middleware" program to provide an interface between ADP accounting system and a third-party shipping optimization system.
Warehouse Control System -- used to control inventory location and counts in a warehouse, then interface with outside accounting systems. Uses barcodes and RF barcode scanners.
DiamondLink -- similar to DiamondShip. Acts as middleware to transfer data into and out of the main accounting system (e.g., synchronizes customer data, parts data from the main system down, sends sales orders or shipment information up to the main system from the remote warehouse or data entry program. Includes FTP transfer of data between systems.
SOS -- rapid data entry program with extensive calculations and reports for sales orders at a sprinker system manufacturing company.

Work Terms

All payments must be through the Guru system. We prefer to use SafePay on transactions under $1,000 and use Escrow on larger projects as appropriate.
On large projects, we generally develop a schedule of payments to be made in exchange for milestones met, with an up-front payment of 10-20% to begin work. On projects billed at an hourly rate for time worked, we submit an invoice with supporting timesheet once a week.
We communicate with customers regularly and promptly by phone, by E-mail, and by Instant Messenger (we use Trillian, a multi-protocol IM). We are available 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time on business days, as needed and arranged at other times.
