I have worked with Microsoft Access since Access 3.0, and spent most of the past two years working with a Pitney Bowes team that produced customized applications based on an Access product that took each customer's specific input data and produced custom reports. We also developed projects using Planet Press from Objectif Lune.

I earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science after working in the IT world for 25 years, so I knew what questions to ask. I have worked with C, C++, COBOL, CICS, IMS, Oracle, JCL, SQL, VSAM, and IBM assembly language. Thus I can interpret or modify legacy applications, as well as create new desktop apps to solve current business problems.

I am also expert in programming the Pitney Bowes StreamWeaver and Finalist products.

I believe that in general we get what we pay for, so my work rates are based on the fact that since I am a professional and I intend to provide professional services, you should expect to pay reasonable professional rates. I see ads on the web for programming at $10 an hour, and I have to wonder what kind of quality work someone would expect to receive at those rates.
