Highlights
|
My expertise is technical writing, specifically taking a complex subject and making it easy to understand. To date I have created the following (not all inclusive):
Aviation Military manuals to Milspecs, Semiconductor Manuals, Satellite dish installation manuals, Computer hardware and software user manuals, Microfiche/film management manuals, Submarine monitoring systems maintenance procedures, Environmental manuals, Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing, Training/Instruction guides, Instructor, Various User Guides and Operator Manuals, and S1000D/Cobra applications.
While I do not consider myself a CAD expert I do have experience working with AutoCad and have drafting experience. I also have extensive experience reading blueprints should the job require it.
As a technical writer (documentation specialist) I am constantly upgrading my skills in order to meet the demand of new challenges and take advantage of new oportunities.
For a hobby and relaxation I dabble in, and have written (but not sold), several screenplays. One of my screenplays did, however, make quarter finalist in a BlueCat contest I entered.
In addition I am retired military (military aviation) and have been doing technical writing since retiring in 1992.
