I am a designer and consultant with over 10 years foundation in menswear, and womens / childrens experience. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of apparel design, development, and manufacturing. This includes concept, illustration and flat, technical, and graphic design.
Concept direction is important for my clients, as it helps create a physical understanding of the project from concept to completion. This includes concept boards, colorstory, sku planning, and preliminary illustrations.
Illustration and flats encompass the aesthetic of each style. Every piece is designed from the inside out, and is detailed as such. This includes front and rear flats and full color croquis illustrations.
Technical design is the fingerprint unique to each piece. This includes flats, illustrations, detail flats, trimming, specs, and gradings.
Graphic design for apparel is really the ephemeral aspect. Promotional pieces, Point of Purchase, web graphics, and sales materials. This includes hang tags, line sheets, look books, website layouts, and campaign layouts.
In addition to the aforementioned facets, my skill set further includes overseas production experience. Through extensive travel to both China and Italy, I have spent ample time on the production floor of many facilities managing development of samples and bulk production.
