I am a professional, seasoned Paralegal, and with over 20 years experience in corporate, banking and legal environments, I can bring a unique mix of legal and business that your project will benefit from. I've worked for a prestigious law firm, a major financial institution (and several less major), and a private developer, which brings each of those unique perspectives to a project.
Contract preparation and review is a specialty, and my main focus when preparing contracts is to keep them simple and understandable. I have significant experience in Organizational Documents, Real Estate Contracts, and Loan Documentation. When reviewing documents, particularly complex documents, my main focus is to weed out the significant issues from the "legal mumbo jumbo", and present them as simply as possible.
Yes, there are many times when you need to have that attorney license on your side. But consider how much more economical it can be to use a professional, seasoned paralegal for the work that doesn't need that special stamp, or to do front work to prepare a comprehensive package your attorney just needs to review and approve, rather than prepare from scratch.
My goal is to transition in the next several years to full contract work, but for now the bulk of my work will be completed before or after normal business hours or on weekends. Regardless, I will work with you every step of the way to ensure that your job is completed in the time frame that you need it.

In addition to my Bachelor's Degree, I have a Paralegal Certificate and have worked over 20 years in the financial and legal fields, primarily in the corporate and real estate areas. I have worked for a major financial institution (as well as several smaller ones) and a large multi state law firm.
I have dedicated myself to becoming aware of all facets of a transaction, rather than just my current specialty (eg, understand the business side, not just the legal or lending side). This commitment has led me to participate in financial due diligence during the bank acquisition era, asset based auditing and several other unique opportunities in my fields.
For the past 2 years I have been employed in the private sector by a growing real estate developer. This unique area has given me even more opportunity to expand my legal and financial skills to the business side of things. |

It will be a pleasure to work with you on your project!
Because I am currently employed full-time, I will complete the majority of the work on your project before and after normal working hours (mountain time) and on weekends. However, my main goal is to identify the schedule in which you need your project done up front and set a schedule to ensure it is done right and on-time.
I am most easily reached by e-mail and will return an email within half a day's time. If I know that we are working on a specifically time sensitive subject, I will make the effort to check email more frequently so that the project can move forward efficiently. If we both determine a phone or IM conference is needed to keep the project rolling, we can arrange that as well.
I prefer to be paid for my work through Safe Pay Escrow at Guru.com, using a check, e-check or wire transfer. I believe this method is the most convenient and safe method for us both.
