Description:
The Johnstown Breeze is a weekly publication originating in 1904. The owners had a previous content management system that was started online in 2000. It needed a facelift. We chose to use the Joomla! CMS and give them the opportunity to highlight their frontpage articles with the Rockettheme Rokstories module in prominence.
One of the requisites was that the site would be subscriptions based. For this we chose the new Community Builder integration of CBSubs, which hinges on the CB user profiles and allows multiple plan types.
The owners have been very pleased with their new home on the web and the fact that they now have a way to update the stories on their timeline.

Roosevelt High School Alumni Association is a non-profit geared to raising funds for student scholarships. All membership dues to the organization go to funding scholarships. In 2007, $1500 was given out. This is a Joomla content management system website. It has a membership dues subscription module and uses PayPal to process payments. Integrating with PayPal for taking online payments, participants can fill in forms to sign up for events, such as the Rider Ramble 5K Run, a big fund raiser for the Alumni.

HaysMarket.com is a newly updated Joomla! 1.5 CMS, keeping the look they want and updating with 1.5 features.
The owners are local grocers competing with the big guys. But they offer local hometown roots with great customer service. They wanted a showcase for who they are. Joomla allows them to do that. We put up their weekly ads. They are also using the opportunity to market ad coupons to their growing customer base via weekly emails. Joomla lends itself to scalability and this site is in for some new changes soon.
