I had provided details of what I was looking for and explained that there would probably be some questions about what I was looking for before a Freelancers could submit a proposal. Mark bid on the project based on using Joomla as the foundation for the site. I had never heard of Joomla - I only knew what I needed and that my biggest need would be for data to be received form the site in a way that would populate a database to be used to accomplish defined tasks. Long story short - after wasting nearly a month Mark told me Joomla wouldn't work and he suggested I look elsewhere to get the site developed. My feeling is he should have been able to make that determination based on the information I had provided at the outset - and if there was anything that wasn't clear about my description of what I needed he should have asked questions. Client made effort to communicate his requests. Joomla CMS 1.7 was not a good match with this client, he need a fully customized site, built to his specifications. He also provide documentation on specifics after contract was started.

Client made effort to communicate his requests. Joomla CMS 1.7 was not a good match with this client, he need a fully customized site, built to his specifications. He also provide documentation on specifics after contract was started.
I made every effort to provide his requests, but failed to communicate what a cms is and does, and the advantages and limitations.
I decided to discontinue project due to fully failing to get client to understand, and complete project and receive balance based on fully satisfying clients requests.
I would also add that all templates, designs, extensions and configurations were completed, but failed to resolve to many misunderstanding of a Joomla CMS.
I would also note client asked 4 times could I do something else, I replied 3 times, that was not the contract terms, and do not provide that support.

I would have loved to deliver, but, and overall I wish this client good luck and fortune. Show less
