Highlights
|
While my focus is currently on a few key areas, I have a broad range of experience in various fields of engineering. I have recently completed development of a few large web portals, each of which was very unique in both design and requirements. Due to the unconventional requirements of these portals, and my clients' desire for a clean and user-friendly design, none were based off of pre-developed frameworks or components. They were custom-built from the ground up, with efficiency and scalability kept as top priorities to accommodate a rapidly expanding user base.
I focus on ASP.NET/C# and PHP web applications, with experience developing interactive medical, e-commerce, and multimedia web portals. I also have in-depth IT knowledge covering Active Directory, IP networking/routing, UNIX firewalls/web proxies, web servers (Apache & IIS), and scripting (both Windows Script & UNIX Shell Scripting). On a seemingly unrelated note, I am competent in other scientific disciplines including acoustic engineering and (analog & power) electronics. As a result, I often approach problems from a unique angle and obtain very positive results.

Payment Method:

Communication:
I prefer to maintain frequent communication through e-mail or telephone. I am on my e-mail during most of the day (even weekends), and I usually respond within 10-15 minutes.
General Availability:
My time is split between freelancing as a software developer and being a professional touring musician, so there will be times (usually evenings) when I will be unavailable for communication. However, even if caught at the worst possible time, I will still usually be able to respond within 6-12 hours. I work 7 days a week, and am fully willing to communicate all 7 days.
Feedback/Endorsement:
I have always had long-lasting relationships with all of my clients, and I would like to continue down that path with all of my future clients. As such, I will leave positive feedback for my employers, and I would greatly appreciate receiving positive feedback when a project is completed.
Code of Ethics/Guarantee Policy:
I do not consider a project complete until everyone is satisfied with my work. Honesty and quality are my top priorities and I am uninterested in compromising those values in order to secure more projects or finish work in a hasty and unprofessional manner.
