I work on an as-needed basis, and can do most of my work offisite for the research and development part. I can also present and evaluate training sessions on-site.
My Training Development Process:
Initial meeting to discuss problems, concerns, and time frame
Develop a training outline based on meeting
Creation of preliminary outline of topics training session will cover
Training outline approved or revised as needed, up to three revisions of outline
Develop training session
Create materials for the training session
Schedule training date & time (if applicable)
Conduct training session (if applicable)
Provide handouts and instruction to participants
Participants have opportunity to evaluate instructor and training session
Provide training session debrief--What went well; what needs improvement or further training
Follow-up (optional) Check in to see how training is working
