I am looking for someone to build a brochure Web site for a mid-size construction company. The web site will be based off of a template selected by the client. You will need to handle the site all the way from start to finish. Including: - Attending the site kick off meeting via telecon - Picking out 4-5 suitable templates to show the client - Working with the client to flesh out the navigation scheme - Working with the client to customize the site design as desired (limited to 15 hours of customization. Anything above that is billed hourly.) - Cutting the site into a W3C-compliant, CSS-layout template - Adding all content and photos to the site (max of 20 pages, average of 2 photos per page, all supplied in digital format) - Build out entire site smartly using HTML/CSS/ASP to allow for easier maintenance in the future - Assist in deploying site to client's server when it is ready Essentially, I need someone to take the site from start to finish, working with the client directly. You will need to work with the client to make suggestions, answer their questions and deliver a great site. The web site will be a standard brochure Web site based off of a template, but the end result must look nice. There will be limited forms on the site (contact form, which I will supply and maybe one or two more). It will be mainly content. There will be a great deal of client interaction, so excellent spoken and written English is a must. Most communication will happen via email, but there will be occasional conference calls during working hours, so you must be available during the day. Overview We are a small husband and wife business that manages apartment reservations. The apartments are all in the South of France in the town of Antibes. These are small apartments and are all privately owned by everyday people. These are not luxury villas. We have a UK registered company that takes all of the bookings. The current website is old, out of date and needs a total revamp The current website can be found at www.yacht-view.com We had started to go through the process of setting up a new design with the help of a friend – this can be seen at link but whilst the design is more professional, the pictures are coming up too small and the text for each page seems too small. Our friend is now also saying that we may be better with a dynamic website so that we can make alterations and add properties / alter pictures Current process People find our website either through searches or via personal recommendation. They look at the properties and then send us an e-mail enquiring about availability. We confirm price (although the weekly rate is on the website) and availability. Hereafter everything is done by e-mail and monies are paid via cheque or bank transfer. New process We still want to have property information on the website and details about us and the region. Once someone has found the property that they like we then have two choices. 1. We have found another company that has a product called 24-7 booking and this can be found at www.247booking.co.uk. We can embed this package into our website and link into them to show availability and to manage the booking process with payment via credit card on a secure HSBC server Or 2. Our new website is designed to manage an online availability calendar and also contain booking pages How this works will depend upon cost and feedback from potential developers. Initial thoughts on what we want / need To design a website that: • looks modern, • is easy to use/ navigate, • that scores well on Google rankings, • that can have key characteristics updated easily by ourselves, • That is idiot proof for us to use i.e. add new properties / amend prices / offer promotions ….. / update information about properties etc • Does not financially cripple us to develop. • Can be replicated and repeated as we hopefully expand the business into other areas of France Where are we now? We have written about 98% of the content that we want to include on the new website. We are getting friends and colleagues to proof read all this, but we are also open to feedback from you as well. We need to take new photos for all of the properties – currently 22 properties with about 5-7 photos for each of them. We have Google map links for all properties as well. We have a rough idea how we think the layout should look, but are open to advice We may brand the website as RentRiviera.com since we also own this domain We need to know where to go from here???????? We would like this completed by end jan 2009 and are able to offer as much input as you need - this s only a brief spec since we do not know where to go and what to include Show less

Hi Guys, Every year we send our customers a flash ecard for Christmas. We've had a very good designer who has done some great work the last few years but she seems to have disappeared! So we urgently need someone who can create something for us quickly to send out early December this year. We have a storyboard prepared which you will find attached. This is flexible and could probably be simplfied quite a bit. I can give you examples of previous year's cards so you know what we try to do.
