Work Terms

If you are interested in having me design something for you, please contact me and tell me about the project, and I will give you an estimate along with a proposal for project terms.

If you choose to have me design your project, I ask for a retainer based on the estimate I give you. I then give you a questionnaire to fill out that helps me understand your vision for your company or product. I also educate myself about your product or company in order to be as informed as possible when starting my designs. I give you 3-5 initial concepts from which to choose, and I refine whichever one you like best.

I will provide you with images of the project as it progresses so that you can make as many revisions as we agree upon. In this way you can make sure that the project is heading in the direction you want it to take.

If you need more changes than we agreed upon in the terms, or if something else changes about the way we want the project to proceed, then we can always write a change order for the project terms.

As the designer, I prepare the files for press, and I can also interact with the printer on the client's behalf.

When the project is completed, the remainder of the fee is due before the finished files are released to you for your future use.

I charge $20 per hour for work over and above the agreed-upon estimate.
I work using Guru's Escrow service only - that way we're each protected and both of us are assured of a satisfactory completion of the project.
