Highlights

I began my professional life as a mechanical engineer. Over time, I discovered that the tasks I most enjoyed were the ones that required me to create computer graphics and animations for presentations or for the web. Eventually I decided to pursue my passion and earned a degree in graphic design.

My engineering background gives me a natural affinity to vector graphics and Adobe Illustrator, but I am equally comfortable working with raster graphics and editorial layout, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

As a career changer I am eager to take on new challenges and to expand my portfolio. I hope through Guru.com I can find some opportunities to do so.

Communication: My preferred method of communication is e-mail. If telephone conversation or a meeting are needed I would prefer to arrange them ahead of time through e-mail so that they can occur at a mutually beneficial time or place.

Availability: I am available for freelance work mostly in the evenings, but I am often able to communicate sporadically during normal working hours in the Eastern Time Zone.
