I have over 12 years of professional computer experience. Add my personal experience, and I have over 22 years of experience.
For the last 6 years, I have been the director of IT for a medium sized department in a major university. I manage a 200K budget, manage a staff of 5. I support 15 servers of various OSes (Windows 2003/2008 and Debian) and my group is responsible for 350+ users and 280 workstations.
I am charged with securing our environment while making it functional for a combination of clinical, educational and research faculty and their support personnel.
I am a hard worker, capable of independently prioritizing to make sure things are done on time. I've never in my career missed a deadline, and I want to bring that to my clients here.
