My specialty is consulting. I enjoy empowering my clients with as much skill to manage their own systems. Many of my clients would prefer that I just take care of things so that they don't have to worry about details. However, in a crisis, it is so important to have acquired at least a general understanding of how your systems functions.
I am very skilled at telephony systems, but I prefer to approach my consulting from the customer point of view and try to be conscience of kind of first impression a customer will get when they call into a business for the first time. I know I have sat on hold or got lost trying to get to a human in many call processing systems. This is my motivation to engineer systems that are as efficient as possible and leaves the customers with a positive first impression of the business.

I try to make sure that everything about the project is clear and understood by both parties before beginning a project. If I have any doubts about my own abilities or whether a particular function is even feasible, I like to be clear and up-front with my customers.
I often say that I know a lot, but I'm amazed at what I still don't know. I do know that I am always learning new things that will make me that much more productive on the next project, and there is nothing that I can't learn.
I like the escrow payment process. This allows the customer to try out new freelancers without the fear of being taken advantage of. Even outside of Guru I would never charge my clients for services that they were not completely satisfied with. In fact... It is my goal to exceed their expectations.
