I'm looking for part-time, after hour or weekend opportunities where troubleshooting, audit or network design/redesign is required.
If your network is suffering performance issues or undetermined bottlenecks, I can fix it. I can provide you an unbiased opinion on what your consultants or full time IT staff are telling you are required upgrades.
My biggest talent is the ability to troubleshoot any networking or Microsoft based server problem and restore stability in both server and network environments. I have extensive experience in routing problems, making networks more secure, and getting Microsoft servers to remain stable. I have exeperience in multiple monitoring applications and can recommend devices for temp,humidity, and water alerts.
I have experience in RS/6000, AIX 4.3.3, SCO UNIX, and Oracle database management, but have not used those skill sets in the last 3 years.
I prefer to work remotely from my home 8MB. I currently run a 30 site, 100+ servers, and 2500 users remotely with the same efficiency and effectiveness as working in an office environment.

I've managed International networks with resposibility over North America and parts of South America. Heavily experienced in Cisco PIX, ASA, switches, backbones, connectivity from DSL, PtP T1s, MPLS, frame, and T3.
Active Directory deployments with child domains, transition 2003 native forest trusts, and migration of users, group and computers using ADMT.
Backup/Disaster recovery sofwtare using Tivoli Storage Manager with multiple TB LTO3 SAN attached robitic libraries and also low end BackupExec and NetBackup products for remote SOHO locations.
Websense web filtering.
