| Michael worked for Cisco as a Sr. Information Security Manager. Michael has held
senior leadership position in Information security in some of the worlds
largest and enterprising companies to include Cisco Systems and Oracle
Corporation. Through Michaels 15-years in Information Security he has held a
focus in delivering and maintaining Information Assurance to not only his
employer, but to society as a whole. At Cisco Michel was charged with building
an Information Security program for Cisco’s managed service, where he employed
techniques of strategy mapping and program management to attain compliance with
ISO-27001. At Oracle Michel accomplishes this by leading security assessments,
penetration testing, engaging in global project oversight and performing high
profile digital investigations. Michael is skilled in delivering complex,
high-risk security projects on time and under budget using a unique combination
of Information Technology Security and people skills. Michael is effective in
assessing corporate business practices, controls, and risks as well driving
compliance efforts, and building best-in-class customer service/technology and
security operations. In addition to his work at Cisco and Oracle Michaels has
performed consulting to such organizations as the United States Navy, Exxon,
AOL-Time Warner and Dell Computer Corporation.
