I have 10 years experience as a Network Administration including LAN/WAN design, installation, maintenance, diagnostics, technical support and project management of computer and telecom related systems. I'm currently a System Administrator for a 400+ user environment running on a Windows Active Directory based network. I have successfully upgraded them from NT to Windows 2000 and then later to Windows 2003. We migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 and now to 2003. The LAN/WAN/Voice is a completely integrated network consisting of 18 offices with Cisco switches and routers, Nortel ICS and BCM PBX systems which utilize IP, FR and PRI T1’s as well as DSL circuits for spur locations. I am intimately knowledgeable with the Windows NOS services such as Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, RAS, DFS and Group Policy and Exchange. Other areas I’m well versed in are VPN, Firewalls, NAT, Tunneling, Gateways, Veritas, Citrix, McAfee, Blackberry wireless and Voice over IP (VoIP).
I have designed, installed and upgraded multiple Windows based networks; setup hundreds of servers and countless workstations. My goals are to design and deploy highly reliable network infrastructures while keeping total cost of ownership to a minimum.
