Each completed transcript is proofread for general language, punctuation and spelling accuracy while listening to the audio a second time.
It normally takes 4 hours to transcribe an hour of audio. My typing speed is 90 wpm and my accuracy rate is 99%. I have transcribed accents and audio recorded in busy settings. I can provide you with references and certainly would be willing to transcribe a 5 minute segment of your project at no charge. |

Work Terms
|
Availability Although I am located in the Mountain Time Zone I am available to work in any time zone.
My hours of availability are 7 am to 7 pm EST, Monday-Thursday and Friday 7:00 am to 1 pm. Saturdays for special projects or events. Any scheduled vacations or time off will be announced well in advance. If for some reason I need to be out of the office unexpectedly, clients will be notified immediately, and schedules adjusted accordingly.
Rates I charge by the project or by the audio hour for transcription and by the hour for my services as a Virtual Assistant. Please contact me for specific rates.
Payment Method As a GURU.COM provider I prefer to use the SafePay system or payments to be made using PayPal.
For new clients I do ask you to use the SafePay Escrow process which requires an upfront deposit into the Guru escrow account. After we work together and you're both satisfied and pleased with my services I will invoice you through Guru's SafePay Invoicing system or through PayPal.
Communication Communication is vital to every relationship. It is one of the key elemenets that makes working virtually successful. You will find that I am very easy to communicate with using email, by telephone or Skype. I update and keep my clients informed about any project I'm working on.
