Los Alamos National Laboratories: Technical Lead for Team IBM responsible for database architecture, design, development, testing, training, and documentation of Federal reporting system. Responsible for project plan and timelines, managing a team of 3 developers, and personally participating in the development as a member of the development team.
Bechtel Nevada at Nevada Test Site: Project Manager for team of 14 responsible for the implementation of Oracle’s Enterprise Business Suite Release 11i. Doubled as the Technical Lead responsible for managing a team of 7 technical developers. Technical Architect responsible for the design and integration of 12 external applications. Other duties included managing client expectations, writing technical specifications, reviewing coding and documentation for accuracy and consistency, mentoring client on new functionality and the use of SQL, and teaching a formal UNIX class.
Digital Lighthouse: Project Manager for a team of seven during a rapid implementation of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite Release 11i. Echostar Communications: Project Lead for team of twelve independent consultants on an Oracle Business Suite release 10.7 upgrade. Restructured and redefined all Oracle and custom applications including tuning of background processing and redesigning customizations to allow for ease in maintenance and upgrades. Pennsylvania University: Subject matter expert for the development of a complete training course for General Ledger and Purchasing including Train-The-Trainer material and classes, Chart Of Accounts materials, and extensive instructor notes. Senior Principal Consultant hired as part of the Oracle Financials implementation SWAT team
Responsible for Oracle database operations and administration on a major internal project involving database optimization for the Oracle Financials suite of modules. The project included installations, updates, tuning, automating entries and bench marking.
INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT 4/1993 - 11/1993
Responsible for the migration of existing corporate data to Oracle Financials version 9.3.
Modified Oracle Financials applications by building 4 custom forms to allow integration with existing Human Resources and Project Accounting databases. Development was accomplished using methodologies allowing for an easy upgrade path during future releases.
LOCKHEED ENGINEERING AND SCIENCES CORP 3/1991 – 4/1993
Responsible for database administration (installation, updates, and tuning), documentation and programming of an Oracle database consisting of the full set of development tools including Pro*C and Oracle Financials Purchasing, Payables, and Inventory. Other tasks included the training of developers in the use of Oracle Forms and the Application Object Library, customization of printer drivers, and keyboard mapping.
