My working terms are
simple. I can normally get a resume completed within a day or two once all information has been furnished. For books and transcribing
of tapes that takes longer (project length/complexity determines completion date). I would like an initially telephone call.
Then email daily in the beginning process is acceptable and several calls and
samples might be sent to your email to ensure that we are on the same page. Once
we are both comfortable with what it is that you want then the project moves
into overdrive, emails might be more on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Whatever it is, it will be terms that we are
both agreeable with.
Regular working hours are between 12pm-8pm unless we have
agreed otherwise or there is a rush on a project and I have nothing else that
requires my immediate attention.
Standards/Etiquette…I require transparency, honestly, open
communication and should something change or you do not like call me
(preferably as email seems so impersonal) so that we can fix it promptly. Do
not let things drag out. Preferred payment is Safe Pay, I do have a 3 step
program to getting paid, 1/3rd of the payment is required in the
beginning stages. Then 1/3rd is required in the middle of
the project, this eliminates “Oh this is not what I wanted” and the final payment is when the
work is completed.
