* To locate 8-10 solid, qualified prospects for demos (either 1st, 2nd or 3rd demos) who will immediately move into the pipeline.
o Regularly located 12 + prospects for demos and earned a bonus each month
o Located prospects which culminated in the largest software sales and implementation of that product during my tenure there.
The percentage of closed sales from the prospects I found, scheduled demos for and co-sold along with the outside reps was about 70%.
~Prospecting/Bus Development Plan:
* To cold call and schedule 2 qualified telephone appointments and/or demos (remote) daily.
o Regularly scheduled 2 - 3 qualified telephone appointments and/or demos regularly.
o The percentage of the appointments I scheduled that moved into the sales cycle and resulted in sales was at least 60-65%, often higher.
NOTE: I was never selling or prospecting in a "rising tide" scenario, often it has been the opposite! I specialize in producing QUALITY not QUANTITY.
