I have 8 years of experience as an educator and have worked in private, public and charter schools. As an English teacher for middle school students as well as an elementary school teacher and all school Literacy Coach, I've had experience working with students of all backgrounds.
I began freelancing three years ago, and have experience writing about education, parenting and children. I have been featured on websites, magazines and blogs.
I would welcome any project about education, parenting or child psychology, geared toward adults or children.
Although I have a Masters in Education from University of San Diego, I also have advanced training as a reading specialist, a certification in teaching English for grades 5-12 and a bachelor's degree in English and Government from Skidmore College.
