I have been writing for various media including web, mobile, print and television for more than 12 years. For the past five years I have been working with digital media, creating and editing text content in health care, entertainment, travel, lifestyle and parenting verticals.
I also provide translation services in Hindi-English language pair. I am a native Hindi speaker and English is my second language as well as subject of graduation.
Work Experience breadth:
* Web & Mobile: Full time content writing/editing/managing positions with Rajshri Media, Digital Media Convergence Ltd. and Webaroo Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
* Print: Single-handedly undertook complete editorial process for the Hindi section of Namaskaar, the in-flight magazine of Air-India (published by Business India). Also worked as translator and copy editor for Hindi magazines - Stardust and Health & Nutrition (Published my Magna Graphics).
* Television: Worked as freelance writer for Surabhi, the culture tele-magazine (produced by Cinema Vision India). Also wrote dialogues for many Hindi TV shows including Rishtey, Shaheen, Kyon Hota Hai Pyarr, Lavanya among others.
*Translation: Translated brochures, questionnaires, books, stories, technical and feature articles and TV show dialogues. Created a Hindi phrasebook for Ectaco Ltd. (Russia). Other major clients include Multi Lingua (Singapore), Cactus Global, Crimson Interactive, STAR TV, Spenta Multimedia, Business India Magazines among others.
