View	Name: Real Estate Website harpandassociates.png Description: Harp and Associates is a full service real estate company in Harrison, Arkansas. They had a fairly specific design in mind using their previous color scheme. They needed to have a full MLS search integrated into their site that was capable of retrieving real time data from their local MLS. The site needed to be simple and easy to navigate with a blog functionality. We built their site from the ground up based on a custom Wordpress theme. The logo and the website design are simple and eye catching, which is what the Client wanted. MLS data is automatically downloaded nightly into their server and parsed into a easily searchable database. The search box itself is dynamic using jQuery. The search results are displayed very simply with a link to individual detail pages. The detail pages use remote images located on the MLS server to save space on the Client’s server and to speed up search time and server efficiency. On the details page, there is a custom map using google maps API. This map is using the Realtor’s specified latitude and longitude coordinates to locate the property more effectively. He wanted a very simple site to display his work where he could upload and manage his photos himself. To accomplish this for him, we created a custom Wordpress theme that would be suitable to his needs and wants. We also designed and created his logo as well as his site. The Client wanted a simple informational website for the Realtors in Harrison. It needed to be simple to maintain but they also desired a more custom look than a typical theme could provide. We built this website from the ground up using a custom Wordpress theme to fit the Client’s needs and wants. We designed a custom logo and theme within the boundaries of their budget requirements.
