VB.NET, C#, C++, DLL Development, MSOffice VBA, Web Development, Embedded Applications, Microsoft Foundation Class, JAVA and others!
Amongst various duties including Safety Representative, PeopleSoft Requisitioning, and web development, I was the sum total for writing specialized software applications for the Calibration Department (ocassionally receiving welcomed assistance from co-ops). My most current accomplishment was developing a tool to assist technicians in performing in-place calibration with greater accuracy and efficiency. Using established excel datasheets, I created a vb6 application, then subsequently rewrote the entire application using visual studio 2005 (.NET) software to connect with a data aqusition system (dewesoft.com) software's dynamic link library and populate the datasheets, maintainining previously established procedures and enhancing the automation and reducing human error. Electronics and Embedded Software Design, and Robotics are all hobbies that I find fascinating and excel in. Using I2C protocols for circuit design is my most recent project in which I developed a temperature sensing, real-time keeping circuit for my Master's Thesis Project to store temperature measurements for later transmission to a database.
Data Conversion and normalization are my primary focus with database development.
Three tiered web-architectured web applications is my current focus. |
