Designed and developed an MPEG Player and DICOM Viewer software for Windows CE (mobile) environment. This is an ongoing medical imaging software effort at this time.
Designed and developed entertainment (game) software for the Windows CE (mobile) environment. This is an ongoing effort at this time.
Designed and developed software to perform surface creation and
modeling. The software also allows for surface manipulation,
surface analysis and the creation of the paths necessary to guide a laser real time in ablation surgery for the eye. The software reads in a point cloud file in standard DXF format and then generates a surface model through this point cloud. The software can then perform a variety of manipulations on the surface such as smoothing and extending the data as well as generating height and volumetric analysis information.
Designed and programmed a specialized FTP Scheduler/Server for
the US Navy utilizing Delphi.
Designed and programmed a Linux based web application that
allows for remote access and manipulation of devices located in a home or on a factory floor. The software is designed such that it canbe configured as a client/server application, a web based application or the entire system can be embedded. The entire project was coded in Java 2 utilizing JINI, JNI, RMI, JSP, EJB and servelets.
Designed and developed a game programming Engine in Java.
Designed and programmed the communications module that
interfaces with implanted neurostimulators for patients with spinal cord injuries. Also designed and programmed the object model for the entire suite of Neuro-control software objects that can be manipulated by physical therapists etc for exercising, fine tuning and modifying the functionality of implanted neuro-control devices.
Designed and helped develop an Engineering GIS/Mapping application to function both as LAN and a WEB enabledapplication. The software allows for new tools to be snapped into the existing architecture; and extending the architecture via scripting. The application performs multiple forms of statistical analysis, Neural Network analysis, Fuzzy logic, it allows for Expert System extensions and free from GIS modeling.
Designed and helped program real time software to communicate with several instruments and physical devices in order to produce a test stand application suitable for R&D work involving GM's new electric vehicle.
Designed and authored an ActiveX exe telephony application that allows two executables to communicate with each other and perform graphically as one entity on screen. This enabled the company to have many developers working on the endless unique screens constantly demanded by the application at the same time. This application utilized DCOM, COM, MTS and MSMQ technologies.
Designed and wrote several OCX controls. These Control are used by programmers to manage network resources, subclass windows and perform a variety of other tasks.
Designed and wrote an application that allows a user to draw the desired motion for a robot to follow on a photograph converted into a Bitmap image. The software would then convert these pieces of geometry (e.g. spline, polyline, circle etc) into control instructions for the robot to follow in 3D space.
Designed and wrote a communication DLL to interface with a main line software system in Windows NT and 95.
Designed and wrote 95 and NT networking software to enumerate network resources and configure printers remotely.
Designed and wrote a device driver to drive parallel ports for large scale printing equipment.
Designed and wrote device drivers to interface with serial devices for real-time data acquisition and control.
Designed and helped write a three tiered CTI/IVR System utilizing Oracle as the Database, Tuxedo as the Transaction Processor and Windows NT as the front end client workstation.
Designed and helped write three tiered database applications using Oracle as the Database, Tuxedo as the Transaction Processor and Windows NT as the front end client workstation.
Designed and wrote several communication API's utilizing TCP/IP sockets to link HP 9000 UNIX systems with a variety of legacy systems (MVS,BULL etc.).
Designed and developed a custom contact lens modeling and
machining system that converts raw topological data points from a scanner into a corneal surface model and finally into a custom fit contact lens.
Designed and developed a real time extension to the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Designed and developed a wide range of Microsoft Windows products for the Medical Arena:
Networked, multi-user, multi-platform database applications
Networked, file management and productivity measurement software
Statistical analysis and neural network functions
Surface rendering algorithms
Gray scale analysis and manipulation routines
Photographic enhancement of medical images and the printing of these on a laser jet at 1200 dpi
Created a multisurface machining system for the molding
industry.
Accomplished the first major port of a large scale engineering CAD application to the DOS protected mode environment.
Wrote animation routines for entertainment software for the PC. Designed path finding routines, a game engine used for Windows 3.1, written in C 7.0. Ported a game from the Macitosh to the PC.
Designed a hybrid AI system composed of a neural network and an expert system to predict medical costs based upon intake information.
