I have several years of experience working with small and large companies, providing quality technical computer skills. In addition, I have developed an approach to the office dynamic, bringing many intangibles that make me a positive person to work with on a daily basis.

From a technical standpoint I have excellent skills with languages like COBOL and SAS and have training level skills with HTML, Java, Perl and PHP. I have worked on mainframe systems, UNIX and PC applications and have gained general knowledge of different sized computer applications and the framework in volved with each. Other skills from the mainframe area include CICS, DB2 and VSAM. Many of the lessons and knowledge of mainframe processing and solving business issues have translated well to understandin many of the components of web-based systems.

I am open to working for customers from time to time on a full-time basis and may be able to work on sight for extended periods of time.

Work Terms

My preferred method of payment on projects is SafePay Escrow.

I determine per project how to estimate my rate, usually $20 - $30/hour and on projects I attempt to estimate the hours and do the math.

My availablility at the moment is that I'm free to work evenings and weekends on your projects, but can make myself available in the daytime as well. Soon I will be ending a long-term project I've been working and that will free me up to work more daytime hours.

There may be some special cases in the near future where I will work for the right company and project for less than $20/hour. I am presently working on re-tooling my skills and will have some training-level web-based skills. Under the right circumstances a trade for less dollars for unproven talent may be in line.
